Flair No3

When she was a little girl, Marisa watched old movies from the 20’s & 30’s incessantly. She still talks about every outfit Audrey Hepburn wore and how she impacted fashion. Born in Angola, she grew up making her own clothes: she wanted to show her personality through her clothes and play it up. At the age of 20, she comes to Geneva as an au pair and discovers the flea market of Plainpalais. And so it begins… She accumulates leather jackets and vintage dresses from designers she admires like Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent. Sometimes things aren’t in good shape and Marisa – obviously excited about the task at hand – deconstructs, shortens, sews, adds or subtracts and reconstructs the piece. All of her treasures were reunited in 2003 (or 2004 – she doesn’t really remember the exact time, she feels like she’s always been here) in her very own vintage store. Bigettes: under one roof you have here the possibilty of consignment, unique pieces, vintage accessories and even that special evening dress you’ve been looking all over the place for. Under Marisa’s watchful eye and with her expert advice, you too will be able to express your Big personality with these chic vintage findings!
