The Maison Athénaïs is a pretty little story that begun in December 2016 in Geneva, in the living room of an apartment-workshop located on the right shore. The young designer, Laure-Anne Le Priol, who studied jewellery design, created a range of head accessories, crafted by hand with a chic bohemian elegance.
Laure-Anne is in love with material which she handles to perfection and with creativity; her living room slowly but surely turned into a real bazaar where she was able to imagine, create and share. But share what? Her passion and poetry of course, through tailor-made creations, decorated with semi-precious stones and pearls, feathers, embroideries and flowers.
But make no mistake, Athénaïs headbands have nothing to do with Granny’s hairpiece on her wedding picture in Appenzell. The brand satisfies even the most difficult brides (that looks discomfited in front of Claire’s diadem ribbon because yes, Cartier is too expensive). But her creations can also be worn by a more urban clientele, a contemporary muse that enjoys folk aesthetics. You can feel the Californian spirit and imagine yourself driving a Mustang in the desert, listening to Joan Jett with a headband tied in a chignon. Rest assured, the streets of Geneva can do the matter too.
Each piece is exclusive, made of silver or gold plated, according to your needs and your desires. The delays are not too big and prices are reasonable. You can order headbands, tiaras, combs, pins, or other accessories; you’ll find for sure something to lighten up your summer outfits.
