La Gravière

La Gravière is a former Firmenich petrochemical store, located near the Arve river and constructed in 1924. The association Bloc manages this amazing place of independent music culture and recently also welcomes theater play with the project Ambitions, which, defies the codes of contemporary theater. A big place which won’t last for ever since the expansion project of the new police station will force La Gravière to evacuate it’s location in 2018.
In 2012 however, more than 43 artists and djs were presented to us. Each week a selection of electronic music is offered: techno , house and a bit of electro. La Gravière also has a live rock programor dj set; rock music from the 50s to 70s but also folk, rock and pop concerts, metal, black metal, post hardcore.

The little entry fee (8.- to 12.-) will allow you discover the Independent party scene of Geneva, far away from the atmosphere of private clubs. Here, it’s pretty much “let the music play”.

Chemin de la Gravière 9, 1227 Acacias.
