Movember

Men of Geneva, time has come to grow a moustache! Up to you to decide whether you’re a Dali (narrow, long points bent), a Hungarian (big and bushy), Imperial (whiskers growing from both the upper lip and cheeks) or a Clarck Gable, etc… Welcome to the Movember yearly event.
Fun, humble, innovative, growing your moustache is a statement during the month of November: it means that you wanna help cure prostate cancer. But your moustache needs to come with a donation to the foundation, otherwise, what’s the point?
Since 2004, by encouraging men (which the charity refers to as “Mo Bros”) to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatment, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides annual check-ups, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of their family history of cancer and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Many events in Geneva will soon take place (the first one being the Official Movember 2014 Launch party on Friday, October 17th); all you have to do is click on our news to find out where and when.
