Jonathan is a night kind of guy… But you already know that because he’s the DJ La Forêt. While studying decorative arts he became a confirmed night owl and describes it perfectly himself : “At night, everything is beautiful”. A creature of the night who loves objects for day, he treasure-hunts on his travels and at flea markets always looking for a souvenir. Something a little old, with charm and character: a painting, furniture or an object for just the right place. His last trip to Florida and his many trips to LA were a major decor influence when he opened his bar in February 2012.  To push the artistic envelope even further, Jonathan gave carte blanche to artists in the conception of his menus and glasses (Barlz), the signboard of the atypical location (Theworkshop) and his logo (Art.10). He invites rock, folk & blues musicians to play and surrounds himself with a team he considers to be like family. And if you feel like something is a little different since the last time you came by, don’t blame the alcohol; The Kraken’s interior is constantly evolving and changing with each trip to the flea market.
