L’Etabli

After the Kraken comes the bar L’Etabli, for your pleasure only! Jonathan and his family are about to welcome you right opposite their first bar: great choice of tequilas and gins, but unlike the Kraken which loves Swiss wine, L’Etabli has decided to take us to Chile, Argentina, Mexico, South Africa and Sicily with a simple glass. Prices are as reasonable as ever. But where things are about to change is inside the kitchen. May we present you Florent, the cook chef who comes from the South of France (his voice literally sings when he speaks) where he has always worked in prestigious restaurants, celebrating the word gastronomy. But he eventually got bored and wanting to create his own flavours, he put his personality into a dish he named the flat bread. The flat bread is between a pizza and a biscuit, served on a wooden chopping board. The bread dough base is then covered with fresh tomato sauce and an italian cheese. Afterwards, it’s up to you to decide whether you prefer meat, fish or veggie. You get 40cm of fresh products starting at 17.- for the flat bread and even Nutella for a sweet ending.

As for the atmosphere, same attention to detail and same desire to involve local artists and their talents. Every detail is well thought, and is brought to this new bar from all over the world to create a cosy environment. I know what you are thinking… when does this bar open? Tomorrow, Friday, September 12th and the opening theme is Frankenstein since Mary Shelley wrote her novel in our city. So take the opportunity to go somewhere new: it won’t cost much more than the courage it takes to just do it.
