The houseboat of Lyon

It’s the end of the week in My Big Geneva and you really feel like a total change of scenery? This bed & breakfast is for you.
Located on the Rhône river crossing the city of lights, also known as Lyon (130km from Geneva), the Barnum houseboat promises a calm and quite barge, relaxing in all dimensions of what comfort means: from the bed and the decoration chosen with care, we promise you a Big romantic week-end. Do however plan this getaway in advance to make you the Barnum is available.
The houseboat offers two cabins:
The Admiral’s suits which porthole gives a view on the Opera of Lyon (breathtaking).
The Captain’s room, located at the front of the houseboat. If you book this room, a free parking space for your car is at your disposal.
Both rooms are fully and exquisitely furnished, have their own private bathrooms of course and an unlimted access to internet. But trust us, even Geeks like us will forget about their Smartphones or iPads.
A few advices before you pack your bags: travel light to access the houseboat easily, forget your stilettos as any kind of shoes are forbidden (you will however be given a pair of slippers) and if you really want to impress your second half, book the Barnum on December 8 where the city of Lyon lights up for an entire week-end with artistic lighting performances.
PS: If your wallet is Big enough, may we suggest to book the entire houseboat, although it is large enough not to bump (half naked) into the other houseguests.

From 120€, breakfast 11€/pers.
