Reach the 7th sky!

One of the smallest cantons in Switzerland allows you to take a Big trip in the region of Alpstein, at 2500 meters! The B&B Aescher is located downslope of an alluvial cone situated between two rock outcrops in the mountainside and is open from May to the end of October.

If you suffer from vertigo, best not to go.

There are two ways to reach this 7th sky: the sporty one which includes a 3-hour hike surrounded by the Säntis (and this is a super hard hike) and the lazy one where the cablecar takes you there from Wasserauen with a magnificent panoramic view (15 minutes).

The B&B was built in 1846 and has become a popular restaurant for the locals (röstis etc.) but it can also accommodate you for a night at a very low price. They say that the sky is the limit, this is an opportunity for you to reach it!
