Take a detour to the Place des Augustins where you’ll find the Bistro of Marius, a converted old butchers shop come restaurant. Discreet but not without reputation; the owner of the bistrot, Renald, welcomes you into the cosy eclectic atmosphere where you will be tempted by an abundant wine list – predominantly French with a little room for our own national treasures. In the cosy eclectic decor of the smaller back room you can enjoy a variety of tapas. Whisper an enthusiastic “delicious!” into Renald’s ear and he’ll let you in on the days special – which isn’t on display. When the warm weather rolls around, a terrace shaded with plants and umbrellas beckons.
