Le Grand Magasin

Before being partners in Le Grand Magasin, Léa and Marie-José were something much Bigger: friends! Léa was an actress, and Marie-José worked in children’s fashion; their Big dream was to open a boutique that reflected their idea of timeless fashion.

In 2010 their dream became reality when they opened a shop in the Bains neighbourhood of Geneva. Amongst the designers you will find: Monoplaza, Emma & Co. Marlot, Lueur de l’Aube jewellery, Ellene Verveeck shoes,  and Isaac Reina, a craftsman from the Hermès workshop. Both being lovers of beautiful things and having evolved in an artistic environment, Le Grand Magasin is a sort of art gallery for clothes; prints, retro styles, artist exhibitions, and more…

You can also find the handbag line created by Léa: Dame Pipi – the name being a perfect example of the self-deprecating humor that makes us want to shop in a boutique that helps us look like no one but our Big selves!
