A little treasure has just opened in Chênes-Bougerie. Chez Yaya, a brand new second-hand shop for our children, was inaugurated on June 23rd. Yes, it’s all new and all beautiful. But above all, it’s a place filled with poetry and sweetness owned by Luisa. Hop on and let’s go visit the wonderful Yaya!
You’ll find lots of pretty clothes and shoes for our cherubs, from birth to 10 years old. Obviously, all the items are in super condition and are displayed according to the season. Among the brands I saw: Bonpoint, IKKS, Ralph Lauren and Jacadi. But there are also basics like Monoprix, Petit Bateau or Sfera. In short, there is something for all tastes and budgets.
Parents who have nuggets in the wardrobe of their toddlers are more than welcome to come and propose their clothes at Yaya. What are the conditions you may ask? Quality outfits and in excellent condition. And I’ll say rather timeless classics: superheroes and other princesses are asked to go their way. Clothes may be left on deposit for two months. If they have not been sold and their owner does not come to pick them up, then they are given to associations. In short, a definitely sustainable initiative.
The shop is lively and participates in the life of this booming neighbourhood. Coming soon knitting or “pompom” workshops, as well as knitting afterwork.
Yaya is also a story of family and friendship: Luisa surrounded herself with her friends to create the shop’s decoration and the calligraphy of the storefront. And it is Matteo 7 years old, the son of Luisa, who imagined and wrote the logo. The Bulldog called “Life”, who is the little mascot of the shop, is also ready to help.
By the way, who is Yaya? She’s Luisa’s Spanish grandmother. When I told you that Chez Yaya is a family story!
