“Unimpaired prosperity cannot withstand a single blow; but he who has struggled constantly with his ills becomes hardened through suffering; and yields to no misfortune; nay, even if he falls, he still fights upon his knees” would say Seneca the Younger, I’d add: he still fights on all fours, such as a black cat, symbol of the Electron festival 13th edition.
The budget cuts and a morose cultural climate have lead the Electron festival’s “bad edition” to invoke the Gods of the international scene of electro music. Starting with Todd Terje on Thursday, March the 24th followed by Carl Craig in a b2b with Agoria on Sunday, March the 27th.
Between the 24th and the 27th, between Todd and Carl, more than 60 local (such as Garance or La Forêt) and international artists (such as The Black Madonna from Chicago) have been invited to join the fight. The 13th edition will also welcome back the Torture Garden club from London and will begin on March the 2nd with an exhibition by Brian Eno.
13, a mythical number for a legendary edition.
From March 24th until the 27th
