The devil wears black

Behind the mysterious name Black Devil stands Bernard Fèvre who has already had two different lives. Before and after 2004. Considered as a pioneer of the French Touch, his show/style was unfortunately stolen by Jarre and Moroder back in the 70s. And the Black Devil remained in the incognito hell until 2004, when a label released a reedition of Disco Club (1978). This year we have also seen two additional reissues of: Suspense (1975) and Cosmic 2043 (1977) .

I wonder what it feels like to become famous at the age of 60; I’d say it’s better late than never but Bernard thinks otherwise: “I am  a traditional person when it comes to matters of life but in terms of artistic exploration, it’s different. This opposition is today part of me: I am an old man who makes music for young people. I wish however it had happened earlier.”

The 13th so-called Bad edition of the Electron Festival needed a Black Devil: this is a unique opportunity for the people of Geneva to go back in time and experience the sound of the French Touch movement.
