One of the first big nightlife events in Geneva in 2017 will happen on Saturday, January 7th as LuLúxpo will invite the Parisian duet Il Est Vilaine. It’s very hard to translate the name of these electro DJs as in English, there are no feminine or masculine adjectives. Let’s go with: “He’s a bad girl” (may we insist on the oxymoron: “he” and “girl”). So if you’ve been bad in 2016, here’s a great opportunity to show us how.
After two EPs (including the title El Topo discovered on Couleur 3 radio show Let’s Dance), Il Est Vilaine released last November the EP Surf Rider on the label Kill The DJ, that Ivan Smagghe and Chloé created (Chloé came to Geneva during the French Touch party of the last Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans and we actually met her back in 2014 for an exclusive interview (in French)). The video clip of the Surf Rider was produced by Apollo Thomas from Mexico and Antoine Trapp and will give you a taste of what to expect when you will go to the Zoo of Usine. DJ Jean-Charles de Monte Carlo will begin this very rock evening.
