Chez Maman

Last Monday, I had lunch At Mum’s (i.e. Chez Maman in French). Located in the district of Acacias, the 20th century mansion used to be a hostel and was converted a year ago into a boutique-hotel with a restaurant and a Big terrace. Chez Maman is a bit like the Mama Shelter and a bit like a B&B, totally unexpected in a city like Geneva. Which is why I love it so much.

On the menu: a seasonable and tasty choice of local produce, some cooked on the barbecue in a friendly and warm atmosphere: young cockerel, prime rib of beef, seasonable vegetables with a touch of creativity. The presentation is simply impeccable.
Chez Maman offers 11 rooms, including a few suites and a Big penthouse appartement for travellers who are looking for something unusual and exquisite.
Last but not least, this summer, Chez Maman organises every Saturday evening a musical apero from 7pm onwards. You know where to find me!

Rampe Quidort 2, 1227 Acacias
