GVA Wakesurf Tour 2016

For the second consecutive year, the GVA WakeSurf Tour is recognized as a qualifying stage for the World WakeSurfing Championship.
Never heard of wakesurfing? Let us enlighten you: it’s a water sport in which a rider trails behind a boat, riding the boat’s wake without being directly pulled by the boat. It’s like riding an infinite wave. Some riders “spray” to create the water under him or her to explode and spray; some riders pump which means they turn up and down the face of the wake to gain speed; it’s just an incredible show and performance to watch. Anyone (good enough obviously) can participate but you need to register before August 12th. The day after, the competition will take place across 2 days at the place du Reposoir.

From August 13th until August 14th
Route de Lausanne 222, 1292 Pregny-Chambésy
Free Entrance
