Joanna Goodale in Bach in A Circle (2019)

On March 13th Joanna Goodale performed a live concert on Youtube, followed by online drinks on Zoom. She presented her 2nd album dedicated to Debussy, to launch her own crowdfunding on WeMakeIt.

A few words on Debussy In Resonance
Joanna Goodale’s first concept album – Bach In A Circle – was released in 2019 and brought together the works of Bach and her own arrangements of Sufi music from Turkey and Iran. After many concerts (including confinement concerts) and festivals in France, Turkey, and Switzerland she returns with a second album dedicated to Claude Debussy.

Debussy In Resonance is an invitation to experience Nature through the world of Debussy and the sounds of Asia.
Deeply convinced that music can transcend borders and touch the sublime, Joanna Goodale invites her audience to enter into communion with sound and silence in space-time of rare intensity.

This album will be recorded on May 11th in the legendary Salle de Musique in La Chaux-de-Fonds thanks to the support of RTS, Tempo Foundation, Perspectives Musiques, and WeMakeIt crowdfunding.

Music is a free art, a springing art, an open-air art, an art commensurate with the elements, the wind, the sky, and the sea!” Claude Debussy.
