JveuxDuSoleil is a web-app to simulate the shadow of cities and detect sunny terraces.

There are currently 236 referenced terraces in Paris, Geneva, Marseille, and Nantes mainly. But the goal is to cover as many cities as possible in France and around the world.

How to use it

The map should be zoomed in enough to simulate shadows and show sunny terraces.

The date and time are adjusted on the time-control located at the top of the screen. It is thus possible to plan the terraces that will be sunny at a specific time.

JveuxDuSoleil does not take meteorological data into account. The simulation, therefore, works only when the sky is clear.
