King Cake

Founded in 1947, A. Pougnier was first a grocery store on Chemin de Malombré before Zetty and Albert added a pastry shop. Today, the 4th generation is in the “kitchen” of the 8 Geneva shops to serve you the famous King Cake.

Pougnier’s galette des Rois is made of an irresistibly creamy almond filling sandwiched between flaky, buttery layers of puff pastry. Once at home, preheat the oven to 180 degrees; once it reaches the temperature, switch it off, wrap the cake in aluminum foil, and put it in the oven for 5 minutes.

Count CHF13.50 for a King Cake for 4 people and pre-ordering is highly recommended.
