A few steps from the “rues Basses” of Geneva, the Pizza Leggera serves delicious pizzas with or without gluten.
Pizza Leggera – that has a well suited name for a light pizza – was founded in the summer of 2015 at 6, rue Adrien-Lachenal close to the Rive roundabout in the beautiful district of Eaux-Vives. The crunchy and tasty dough garnished with delicious products are part of the major asset of this chain of restaurants that originates from Italy. The gluten-free version will delight those who are gluten intolerant. The recipe of the dough, made of 7 different types of flour, is homemade and remains a Big secret. The pizzeria makes sure it cooks each pizza in a different oven to eliminate any possibility of gluten contamination. I’ve personally tasted the pizzas many times which is why I highly recommend them to you. Each gluten-free pizza is mentioned on the menu with an earn of corn symbol; in doubt, ask the waiter. In addition, lactose free mozzarella is also available.
The fresh pasta is delicious and the exquisite tiramisu is served in an original container. You may also enjoy a gluten-free beer along with a selection of divine wines. The service is super friendly. The atmosphere however isn’t traditional; high and low tables, attention to details and a panel colored with the Italian flag. The kitchen, where the chef and pizzailos work in harmony, is slightly visible so you can glance at the preparation of your refined meal.
A second restaurant recently opened in the commune of Lancy, Avenue Eugène Lance 64. In this residential area, the menu of the pizzeria is slightly different and also offers a variety of homemade deserts.
