Sunny offers a Sichuan Chinese cuisine that you don’t often get to encounter in the Canton … of Geneva. Almost everything is homemade, from dimsums to pancakes that accompany the Peking duck, from crispy caramelized beef to rose shaped raviolis (a must).
And let’s talk about this Peking duck. Traditional as served in the fanciest places with an additional homemade touch. The perfectly warmed and lightly salted hoisin (海鲜酱) sauce is served as needed. The very thin pancakes and the leek and cucumber julienne are served as long as there is some crispy skin remaining on the plate. The duck meat is adapted according to the level of spiciness you like, just ask. The fried rice can also be adapted to your taste, whether you like it with ham or turkey ham, the chef adapts.
In short, Sunny is one of the best value for money Chinese restaurant in Geneva.
The decor is perhaps a little Spartan for the quality of the cuisine. For those who pay attention to interior decoration, they may skip. For others, they will come back!
