The Villa of Guita, Kea Island, Greece, My Big Geneva

The island of Kea, also called Tzia, is the closest Cycladic island to the Greek mainland. Allow 1 hour by ferry from the port of Lavrio. Spared by mass tourism, its rural and natural character will seduce you as much as the Athenians who have a second home there.

About 10 minutes from the port of Korissia, the Villa of Guita awaits you with a panorama that will take your breath away. 180-degree view of the Aegean Sea and Xila beach in less than 5 minutes by car.

2 bedrooms make up Guita’s 70m2 villa as well as two kitchens – outdoor and indoor – a shower room and a bathroom en suite. It will take 5 steps from your comfortable bed to the pool; count an extra 7 steps to reach the barbecue. You may also shower naked outside, right next to the pool, without anyone seeing you,

Guita built her house on the island of Kea to welcome her friends and disconnect entirely. Her sense of detail complements the harmony that emanates from the place.

Here, nature prevails and silence.
You may hear the sound of the waves or the wind and that would be music to your ear.

Must see during your stay
The island’s mascot is a 2,500-year-old lion; it measures more than 9 meters and is carved in stone.

The archaeological site of Karthaia is a must as well as the many hiking trails.
Take the paths through forests of olive, lemon, and almond trees.

In the background, is the Aegean Sea.
