Didier Jordan exhibits his latest photographs from August 31st to September 23rd at the Galerie Séries Rares. Opening on August 31st in the presence of the artist from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“Entre deux eaux, i.e. between two waters is a work born from the observation of a Mediterranean beach on a winter day, with the setting sun.
In the sparkling light, the ebb and flow and its infinite variations captured my attention and my sensations.
I thus recorded many images without knowing their destination.
During a slow work of approach and assembly, the form of the diptych proved fruitful.
These two images put together gave birth to a new motif, a new image.
As if the miracle of life was replayed here when two become three.”
You can also mark on your agenda the dates of Friday, September 15th, @ 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 16th @ 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to listen to Marcel Burger’s reading of poems inspired by the artist’s photographs, as part of the Geneva Art Week.
