24 hours of TV series

If you are a fan of series, then the Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans has thought of you. How about spending your Saturday (November 8th) in front of a Big screen to discover the pilot episodes of coming soon TV series? Sounds good right?
I obviously cannot present you with all the scheduled series, the choice is Big but let me share with you the ones I expect the most:

Deutschland 83
This series may remind you of the movie Good-Bye Lenin since it’s about confronting the two sides of the Berlin wall. Martin Rauch is a young soldier from East Germany who’s been asked to infiltrate the other side of the wall.

Show me a Hero
My choice might have something to do with Oscar Isaac. I admit it. But not only. Directed by Paul Haggis (Quantum of Solace) Nick Wasicsko (Oscar Isaac) is a young mayor of the city of New York. The American justice system forces him to build social houses in a white suburb.

Versailles
But you will have to practice your French as this series takes place in the castle of Versailles with a glorious king: Louis XIV.

Saturday Night will be sleepless with the screening of the pilot episode of Miami Vice followed by a DJ set. And if you are a true fan of the series, you cannot miss the opportunity to meet Michael Nouri at 3pm who will discuss the behind the scenes of the series.
