Art7 Carouge: some beauty…

After the Antigel and the Groove’N’Move festivals comes… Art7 Carouge for a commun opening to finish off the month of February with beauty. And in the context of Art, beauty is the “gauge of successful communication between participants – the conveyance of a concept between the artist and the perceiver. You may never be sure of a successful communication… Rather than regurgitating the reminiscence of my courses in History of Art and its notion of beauty, I’d rather invite you to join me during an “Art7stic” week-end to witness beauty through your eyes only. 7 art galleries and one museum are ready to welcome you.

May I however suggest a few totally subjective stops: first of all, at Maya Guidi’s workshop where Albertine (a famous Swiss illustrator) will take you to the lake using watercolours. Annick Zufferey on the other hand is exhibiting a French artist called Florie Dupont and her “bugs” (i.e. “bestioles): stand between a luxury jewellery and contemporary art, the enchanting world of Florie Dupont is full of fantasies. The artist from Lausanne Régis Colombo, who is known “for his constantly evolving technique” and who works in the field of furtive photography always seeking the finest detail is exhibiting at the Krisal Art Gallery.

The entire program is available online and I wish you already a “beautiful” tour…

PS: if you need a place to stay because you are coming from far away, may I also suggest you stay in the B&B Le Toit in Carouge.
