Summer 2012, the rappers from Seattle released their second album The Heist including the single Same Love in favour of homosexuality. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are Growing Up and it feels really good.
They met when Ryan Lewis was supposed to take pictures of Macklemore who had just returned from rehab. They became friends and started collaborating on a first album.
But The Heist remains their only Big success until now with four grammy awards including Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Besr Rap Performance (for the Thrift Shop single). The Heist is one of the reasons to go and see them performance. The second reason is that the duet travels with amazing artists such as the violinist Andrew Joslyn, the pianist Goldberg and even a trumpet player. Cherry on top of the Big cake: this concert will be the duet’s first appearance in Swiss romande.
