What a great idea to organise a pre Electron Festival week-end before the Big Easter meeting.
May I introduce you to the Electron Hub Week-end, the HeadFun’s newborn, from Friday, October 28th until Sunday, October 30th. 2 evenings and one afternoon to discover a few local and international artists.
Electron Hub Weekend, 1st edition, here we come! 2 venues: the Zoo of Usine (Friday & Saturday) and the Halle W (Sunday). The DJs guests list is available on the efficient and super clear website below.
As for myself, the artist I am looking forward to meeting again is Pylone and he comes from…. here 🙂 I actually bumped into his music by chance, last May at the Zoo. His remix of “New Error” by Moderat is a piece of jewels (listen below). If I had to use one word to describe his music it would be elegancy. And maybe the fact that I like him so much has to do with some of his own influences such as M83. I believe he’s the underdog of this electro weekend… and you know that underdogs throw the best shows.
PS: though it’s not a habit of mine to conclude on a negative note but Presences Electroniques Geneve is cancelled this year due to economic reasons. Such a shame…
