World Music Day 2016

The world music day i.e. the fête de la musique annual music celebration will take place from June 17th until the 19th for the 25th time. The concept of an all-day musical celebration on the days of the solstice, was originated by the French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang. The festival later became celebrated in 120 countries around the world.
The program is available online since May 31st BUT a little mouse told us that the duet – Joanna Goodale and Anna Benzakoum – will be playing the Rite of Spring by Stravinsky on June 18th, at 6.30pm. Do not miss the chance to listen to a new 4-hands interpretation by two amazing pianists.
PS: if you miss it, don’t worry, both pianists will perform again on June 28th at the Espace Fusterie @ 12.30am.
