The Amazing Keystone Big Band is simply amazing on stage. The band is a usual guest of Les Athénéennes festival; last year, they played The Animals Jazz Carnival: a story told by music, music which tells a story, a unique story. Each animal had a musical instrument: the lion was a trombone, the barnyard was represented by the trumpets, the turtle became a tenor saxophone; every animal also had its own jazz style: a brass band from New-Orleans, bebop, swing, funk, etc.
This year, the band is back with a tribute to Django Reinhardt.
Big and small kids will certainly discover jazz like they never did before, with a good sense of humour and some self-mockery.
