If you want to get the week off to a good (big) start, meet your friends at the aperitivo di Ginevra. It was a grey Monday evening when we discovered Luca Ragnelli’s wine bar, which turned out to be one of our favourite places to have lunch as well. Fresh pasta (omg the tagliatelles al tartufe abruzzese!) as a plat du jour, and to finish your meal, a true Napoletana coffee, brewed to perfection. This restaurant bar is all about tradition, served with a smile. Do pay attention to details: taste the local milk in the mozzarella or the burrata, think of the dough kneaded by hand on a floured surface while eating the paccheri, witness how the deli meat is sliced right in front of you. At the end of a long working day, enjoy Italy’s cocktail stars such as the Spirtz Aperol or Campari, the Americano, the Negroni, to name only a few, served with a selection of cheese and finger food; do not forget to try the wine! And if you wonder what we prefer? The high tables, surrounded by stone dressed facade walls, where you sit next to a stranger who might become a one-night friend.
