Teleman in town

It all started with a band called Pete & The Pirates, totally unknown in the land of Switzerland. The band however made quite an impact in UK with some effective chorus and singing guitars. But just as the popular excitement started to kick off, the band split up in 2012. And some old pirates went on to a new adventure called Teleman. They recorded their first album called Breakfast in London including the song Cristina which is to die for. They performed in the first part of Franz Ferdinand’s concert and swear they have “no heroes nor musical models”. In this first album, one can actually hear tons of real instruments such as a sitar, a mellotron keyboard and even a saxophone. And the voice of the band – Thomas Sanders one of the old pirates – is so sensually melodious.

Their second album is expected on April the 8th: you may already listen to Düsseldorf and Fall In Time. And we bet they will have “success” once again for breakfast. Teleman will perform in our city on May the 4th at La Gravière.

Wednesday, May 4th (time to be confirmed)
Chemin de la Gravière 9, 1227 Acacias
