Everyone loves a good burger. Cheeseburger, baconburger or how about a baconcheeseburger! The American culture of food trucks has finally arrived in our Big Geneva: surely you’ve seen The Hamburger Foundation around in Plainpalais, Carouge or Paquis? The secret of their success (other than their delicious burgers made with fresh local ingredients) is the element of surprise – we love running into them on our way home from work! For those who don’t like surprises you can look up their weekly schedule on Twitter, Facebook, by phone and on the web. If you’re feeling a bit selfish, worry not – they do private events. Last but not least since January 2014, The Hamburger Foundation has a brand new premise located in the Pâquis district where you can have an american breafkast (until 11.30am) with pancakes and all, from Monday to Sunday. Stop chasing the truck or do both!
